We regret to advise of the death of Warrant Officer Roy Gerard O'Meara (Ret`d) on 25 September 2013 in Edmonton, AB at the age of 58 years.

Roy was a Firefighter who retired from the CAF in December 2000 at CFB Edmonton after 27 years of service.

A Christian Mass of Burial will be held on Thursday, 3 October 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Onoway, AB with cremation to follow. A Celebration of Roy`s Life will be held at the Onoway Community Hall immediately following the Funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue, N.W., Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2.
