We regret to advise the death of Sapper Howard Spencer Sutton (Ret'd) on 18 May 2011 in Calgary, AB.
Howard was born in Owen Sound, ON in 1922. In 1942 he joined the Royal Canadian Engineers and fought during WW II. Demobilized after the war, he later rejoined with the Special Service Force and fought in Korea. In 1952 he left the military and joined the Canadian Pacific Railway where he worked for 38 years. This was followed by ten years as Regional General Chairman of the Canadian Pacific and Canadian National union representing 2800 men.
A Memorial Service will be held on 27 May 27at the McDougall United Church, 8516 Athabasca Street S.E., Calgary.
