    We regret to advise of the death of Sapper Harold Edwin Walker (Ret'd) of Fergus, ON on 7 May 2009 in his 88th year.

    Harold was born in Mount Forest ON and was a veteran of the Second World War who served with the Royal Canadian Engineers. He was a member of the Fergus Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.

    A Royal Canadian Legion service will be held at 1845 hrs on Sunday, 10 May 2009 at the Chapel of the Graham Giddy Funeral Home in Fergus. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, 11 May 2009 at 1100 hrs in the funeral home chapel. Harold will be interred in the Belsyde Cemetery in Fergus. Donations in memory can be made to the Groves Memorial Community Hospital- CT Fund, through the funeral home.
