We regret to advise of the death of Sergeant John MacAulay (Retd) in Edmonton on 22 June 2011 at the age of 82 years after a lengthy battle.

Formerly of Glace Bay, NS, John had served 25 years with the Canadian Forces and was a veteran of the Korean War.

A Celebration of John's Life will be held on Tuesday, 28 June at 2:00 PM at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton, with viewing taking place one hour prior. Interment to follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of John may be made to the Canadian Lung Association, Alberta Cancer Foundation or to charity of one's choice.
