His international operations experience includes an IFOR tour as the Construction Troop Commander on OP ALLIANCE with 2 CER in the Former Republic of Yugoslavia. Major Conod’s involvement in domestic operations includes OP ASSISTANCE with 2 CER, OP RECUPERATION with JTFHQ Québec and OP GRIZZLY in Kananaskis, AB as a member of the Nuclear Biological Chemical Response Team (NBCRT).
Shawn lives in Kingston with his wife Jody (née Gosselin) and two children Blake and Blair. For the time being they plan to make their home in the Kingston area where Shawn hopes to find employment that won’t interfere too greatly with sailing, fishing and family time. As always, friends are invited to pay them a visit at their home and are asked to stay in touch after Shawn disappears from the DND Outlook address book (email@example.com or 613-549-6139).
