How to Donate to the Military Engineering Institute of Canada

Background

Who are We?

We are a small committee of volunteers who are charged with administering the Military Engineering Institute of Canada (MEIC) and meeting the objectives of the institute as laid out in our charter.  The MEIC was founded as a Charitable Organization in 1990.

What we do?

The primary activity of the Institute is to record the history of the Canadian Military Engineers. After inheriting Volumes I and II of the History of the Corps of Royal Canadian Engineers, the Institute took on the production of Volume III, History of the Canadian Military Engineers published in 1997.  Volume IV, is nearing completion and covers the period from 1971 until the start of the Canadian Armed Forces mission in Afghanistan. Work on Volume V has started.

In addition to the official histories, the MEIC has funded research and publishing for other history books providing histories on various aspects of the CME.

Our Current Focus

The MEIC is currently focused on supporting CME and CMEA activities including Op GRANITE II and CME 125, by accepting donations to these efforts and providing income tax receipts.
