CWO/Adjuc Kenneth Warbis, CD

    After 39+ years of loyal and dedicated service to Canada and the CF, CWO Kenneth Earl Warbis will retire from the CF effective 02 august 2011.

    CWO Warbis joined the CF 28 June 1972 in Saskatchewan as a WSP Tech. Throughout Earl's career as a WSP technician he has held many fascinating positions and completed posting to such exotic and unknown locations as Baldy Hughes, Foymount and Penhold. Other postings took Earl to far away lands like Alert where he met his wonderful wife Murielle and to Kandahar where he completed a 7 and a half month tour at the Engineer Support Unit. Promotions to CWO and holding positions such as boss beaver and Branch Chief would land Earl in Ottawa for his final posting as the Air Force Military Engineer NCM occupation manager.

    A retirement luncheon will take place at the NDHQ WOs and Sgts Mess, 4 Queen Elizabeth Drive in Ottawa at 1200 hrs on Thurs 7 July 2011. Cost for the luncheon will be $25.00 (gift contribution included).
