    Cpl Lindsey Greer, CD will retire from the Canadian Armed Forces on 06 Oct 2017, after 20 years of loyal and dedicated service to the CAF and the Canadian Military Engineer Branch (please see bio attached).  A DwD will be held on 29 Sept 2017 to celebrate his years of loyal and dedicated service to the CAF.

    Cpl Greer enrolled in the Canadian Forces in Regina Saskatchewan. After completing his basic infantry course in Wainwright Alta in May 1998, he was then posted to 3PPCLI in Edmonton where he remained until 2010. In August 2010, he was then posted to LFWA-TC in Wainwright as an instruction until July 2011. At that point, Cpl Greer had received his Occupational Transfer to Construction Tech and this journey would then take him to the Canadian Forces School of Military Engineering in Gagetown NB. Once he completed his QL3 in 2012, he was then posted to CFB Edmonton/ASU – Engineering Services to complete his OJT. In 2016, Cpl Greer went back to CFSME to do his QL5 Journeyman course. After completion, he was then posted to 1 CER where he would finish his career.

    During Cpl Greer’s career in the Canadian Forces, he has deployed on 4 operational tours. He went to Bosnia in 2000 and Afghanistan in 2002, 2007 and 2009. He received the 3 PPCLI Unit Citation in 2002 and a Commanders Commendation in 2009.

    After 20 years of loyal and dedicated service to his country, he has decided to retire from the Canadian Forces on 06 Oct 2017. He plans on staying and working in the Edmonton area with his wife of 14 years Addie and their son Max
