We regret to advise of the death of Firefighter Warrant Officer Donald Corbett,CD (Ret’d) on 4 November 2025.  

Don served over 40 years in the fire services. He was first a member of the Canadian Forces Fire Service, where he served at Canadian Force Base Chatham NB, Her Majesty’s Canadian Ship Skeena, CFB Shearwater NS, CFB Trenton ON, Canadian Forces Fire Academy Borden ON and CFB Moncton NB. 

On retirement from the Canadian Forces, Don served as the Training Officer and Acting Fire Marshal in Nunavut. He then served as the Deputy Fire Chief of Operations for the City of Kingston ON and, finally, as the Deputy Fire Chief for the City of Belleville ON. Don was recognized with the Fire Services Exemplary Service Medal.

Funeral arrangements were private.
