We regret to advise the death of Wilbert John Lautamus of Flin Flon MB on 24 August 2018 at the age of 87 years.

Wilbert was born in the New Finland area of southern Saskatchewan on his grandmother's farm. His completed high school at Hapnot Collegiate Institute in Flin Flon and then began a career with Hudson Bay Mining. Wilfred served in the Militia with 21^st Field Engineer Squadron from the early 50s until 1971 when he retired from the Canadian Forces. He retired from Hudson Bay Mining in 1987. Wilbert was a member of the Flin Flon Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.

A celebration of Life Tea for Wilbert was held Saturday 24 November 2018 at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall Branch 73 in Flin Flon. ^{{dcJan20wrd} [zsp]}
