We regret to advise the death of Sapper Joseph A Leger (Ret'd) of Shediac Bridge, NB on 31 October 2010 at the age of 93 years.

Joseph was born in Middle Sackville NB and lived most of his adult life in Shediac Bridge. He was a veteran of the Second World War and served five years overseas with the Royal Canadian Engineers. Joseph was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Shediac.

Visitation was held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on 2 November 2010. A funeral mass was celebrated on 3 November at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church in Grande-Digue. Donations to the Salvation Army or War Amputees of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
