We regret to advise the death of Sapper Clayton Joseph "Sonny" Kocher (Ret'd) on Monday 1 October 2018 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury ON at the age of 86 years.

Sonny served in the Royal Canadian Engineers. After returning to civilian life, he operated several businesses over the years including Sonny's Crane Rental, Sonny's Sharpening, and Presquile Camp, on the French River. He was a member of the Waterloo Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.

Visitation was held on Wednesday 10 October 2018 at the Dreisinger Funeral Home in Elmira ON. A memorial service was held in the chapel on Thursday 11 October followed by a reception. Interment followed at St. Teresa Cemetery, Elmira. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Poppy Fund Royal Canadian Legion Elmira Branch 469 would be appreciated. ^{{dcJan20wrd} [zsd]}
