We regret to announce the passing of Ronald "Bugs" Campbell at the age of 75 on 23 January 2009 at the Glace Bay Health Care Facility.

Born in Glace Bay, Ron served with the Canadian Military Engineers for 28 years in locations that included peacekeeping in Egypt and Lebanon. After retiring from the Canadian Forces he served as a Commissionaire.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Sunday, 25 January from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. At Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay, NS [849-7520]. Funeral services will be held Monday, 26 January at 2:00 p.m. At St. John's Church. Burial in St. John's Cemetery at a later date. Donations in Ronald's memory can be made to Every Women Centre or a charity of one's choice.
