We regret to advise the death of Paul Kendrew Fox of Westbank BC on 18 December 2017 at the age of 62 years.
Paul was born in Victoria BC and later moved to Trail BC where he completed high school. He joined and served in the 44th Field Engineer Squadron in Trail until 1975 when he joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Paul became a dog master and, over the years, he trained and worked with many dogs, all of which became family members. Paul had many postings across BC during his career and served in Port Hardy, Kimberly, Sointula Island, Port McNeil, Langley and Kamloops. His last posting was in Richmond where he retired after 37 years of service. Paul and his wife relocated to Westbank where he became involved with the training of dogs for Audeamus, a training program providing companion dogs to survivors of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. He was a 24-year member of the Westbank Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.
A Celebration of Life was held on 13 January 2017 at the Westbank Lions Community Hall in Westbank. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, please send a donation to Audeamus by paypal.me/pfma or by INTERAC e-TRF at paulfoxma@gmail.com.
