The CME Family has recently been formally advised by Veterans Affairs Canada that the Government of Canada is now planning an overseas event to mark the 75th anniversary of the Dieppe Raid. An official Government of Canada delegation will be travelling from 16 to 21 August 2017 to attend remembrance ceremonies and events at a number of sites in northern France. These photos show the progress of a 500-man RTC* built on the outer perimeter of Latvian Military Camp Kadaga as part of the EFP* Latvia Theater Opening (TO). As of 25 Apr 2017, 4 ESR has deployed a Squadron to the Joint Task Force Support Component TO team including Field Engineers and Tradesman. The TO deployment to Latvia marks 4 ESR’s 25th deployment of a troop or more in 25 years of existence as a Regiment.
