We regret to advise of the death of Walter Stradchuk on 4 December 2019 in Cambridge, ON at the age of 95 years. Walter was a Royal Canadian Engineer veteran of the Second World War and a proud member of the Preston Legion Branch #126.

A hard worker his whole life, Walter held jobs with Babcock and Wilcox for nine years, the Hespeler Hotel from the late-1950s to the mid-1960s, and bartending. Passionate about photography, over the years Walter opened his own studios in Virden MB, Yorkton SK, Hamilton ON, and Cambridge ON where he had resided since 1965. He belonged to the Stagehands and Projectionist Union until his retirement in 1994.

Friends and relatives are invited to Barthel Funeral Home on Monday, 9 December 2019 for a visitation from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 pm.
