    We regret to advise of the death of William James "Bill" Lea at the Perley and Rideau Veteran's Health Centre, Ottawa ON on Tuesday 27 August 2019 in his 97th year.  Bill was a Royal Canadian Engineer World War II Veteran who served in Holland and Belgium.

    Bill enjoyed a long career at the Ontario Vocational Centre in Ottawa (later became Algonquin College) as the founding teacher of the Survey and Mapping Department. His contribution to this program was celebrated during the 50th Anniversary of Algonquin College in 2017. In his retirement years, Bill was an active member of the Perth Kiwanis Club, the Legion and the Rideau Lakes Power Squadron.

    Friends and family will join together for a funeral service in St. James Anglican Church, 41 Drummond St. E., Perth on Saturday, 7 September 2019 at 2:00 P.M.A reception will follow the service in the Church fellowship hall.
