We regret to advise of the death of former RCAF Firefighter Eric Ross MacDonald in Dartmouth, NS on Sunday, 30 June 2019 at age 81 after a long battle with cancer.

Eric was born in Dartmouth, NS and served in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a firefighter. Upon leaving the service he embarked upon a lengthy career in the insurance field as a Risk Inspector with Prudential Assurance of Canada. Later in life Eric proudly served as a Commissionaire with the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires where he manned the security desk in Halifax City Hall.

A Celebration of Life service will take place at Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth, NS on Saturday, 6 July 2019 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to Ocean View Continuing Care Centre . Online condolences can be sent to the Funeral Home.
