Publié le 9 mai 2014

On Wednesday, 30 April 2014 the Alberta Sappers Club held it's annual Corps Birthday lunch at the Norwood Legion in Edmonton attended by approximately 100 serving and retired military engineers. The lunch culminated with the cutting of the Corps Birthday Cake by the oldest and youngest Sappers in attendance. In the photo, the oldest Sapper ready to cut the cake is 94 year old, WWII veteran Bill Corbett from Edmonton. The youngest Sapper is a 21 year old sapper from 1 CER, and standing in the centre is the President of the Alberta Sappers Club, Dennis Dwyer.
