We regret to advise the death of Joseph Henry Komus on 6 January 2009 at Calvary Place Personal Care Home in Winnipeg MB at the age of 93 years.

Joe was born to German immigrant parents in Winnipeg and was a Royal Canadian Engineer veteran of the Second World War. After the war, he had a 30-year career with Manitoba Hydro in the finance department including many years as Cash Receipts Supervisor. Joe retired in 1978.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday 10 January 2009 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, Calvary Place Personal Care Home or charity of your choice. ^{{dcJan20wrd} [zsd, zsp]}
