We regret to advise that James "Jim" Sward passed away at Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre on 8 June 2008 in his 88^th year.

Jim was a veteran of the Second World War serving in the Royal Canadian Engineers.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, 12 June from 2 pm - 4 pm at the Pinecrest Remembrance Services Reception Centre (2500 Baseline Rd., Ottawa). In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jim can be made to the Alzheimer Society or Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre. ^{[zsp, zsd, zcc]}
