We regret to advise that Harry Dawson Horwood died on 10 December 2008 at Burnaby, BC at the age of 87.

Born in Vancouver, Harry graduated from Lord Byng High School and then joined 6^th Field Company, Royal Canadian Engineers and served overseas. After the war, he settled in North Vancouver. He finished his working career as Membership Manager, Vancouver Board of Trade. For many years he was an active member of Kiwanis.

A Memorial service was held on Wednesday, 17 December at 1:00 pm at Highlands United Church, 3255 Edgemont Blvd., North Vancouver. Reception to follow. No flowers please. Memorial donation may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada www.muscle.ca or Charity of Choice. ^[zpp]
