    We regret to advise of the death of RCAF Group Captain Kenneth Alexander McLeod ( Ret'd) who died peacefully on 8 May 2009.

    Ken served as Navigator in the Royal Canadian Air Force during WW II until 1945. After the war he resumed his studies at the University of Manitoba and graduated in 1948 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. Ken rejoined the RCAF in 1948 in the Construction Engineering Branch and retired in 1964 as a Group Captain. He then pursued a Public Service career at National Defence Headquarters. Ken's career at NDHQ included appointments as Director General of Engineering and Construction, Director General Quartering, Director General Construction and Director General of Properties and Utilities.

    Friends and family are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 150 Woodroffe, Ave. At Richmond Rd. 10 May from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service to celebrate Ken's life will be held in the Chapel on Monday, 11 May 2009 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian National Instiute for the Blind (CNIB) would be appreciated by the family.{khApr2018}[zsd, zsp]
