New Director – Corps of Royal Canadian Engineers (Dir RCE)

On 1 April 2021, the Corps of Royal Canadian Engineers welcomes Colonel Ryan Smith as our new Director. Appointed by the Commander of the Canadian Army, Corps Directors provide the Army Chain of Command with critical inputs on personnel management and succession planning, capability development, and occupation advisor functions. The RCE thanks Colonel Kyle Solomon for his three years of dedicated service as the outgoing Director.

CME Commendation Presented to Cpl Kyle Scott (Ret'd)

In recognition of his exceptional care and compassion in assisting generations of Canadian Veterans to acquire missing medals and awards to which they were entitled, for working with the Last Post Fund in the provision of missing and replacement grave markers and for promoting Canadian military history and continuing to honourably represent the Canadian Military Engineers within his community, Canada and internationally, Corporal Kyle Scott (Ret'd) was presented with the Canadian Military Engineer Branch Commendation.
