Miscalculation of Disability Pensions Class Action Settlement
Former members of the Canadian Armed Forces, or their spouse, common-law partner, survivor, dependent or executor of their estate, who received disability benefits from Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) between 2003 and 2023? If so, you may be a Class Member and qualifiable for compensation from a class action settlement related to alleged miscalculations of disability pensions and benefits.
Vimy Oaks Plaque
As you will recall, the CMEA and friends of the Engineers, contributed towards planting an Oak tree to memorialize all the Canadian Engineers who served during the First World War.
The Vimy Foundation has published a list of all the people and organizations who have planted a tree in Centennial Park. See: The Vimy Foundation Centennial Park and find our effort about two-thirds down the list.

CME Day Ultimate/Soccer
Good day fellow Engineers,
As mentioned in the CME Hockey Game article, here is the information for this year’s CME Day Ultimate/Soccer activities. Last year we were fortunate with good weather and solid participation. With such a mild spring, we’re hoping to commandeer the same field, across from the Bell Sensplex, for a friendly soccer and/or ultimate game. A fieldhouse has been booked in case of inclement weather.
5th NCR CME Hockey Game, Spring Classic 03 May 2024
Good day to all fellow Engineers,
Following the enduring success of our CME Classics, you are all invited to participate in the 5th NCR CME Hockey Game, Spring Classic 2024 edition. The intent of this game is to gather amongst the Engineer extended family in a friendly, yet slightly competitive, environment as to celebrate the 121st CME Day. A social hour in location has been organized following the hockey game. A huge thanks to CMEA as the main sponsor of the event.
