The CME would like to announce the release or retirement of the following members (no biographies submitted):
Op BERLIN 80th Anniversary
During the night of 25/26 September 1944, sappers of the 20th and 23rd Field Companies, Royal Canadian Engineers along with two British field companies, took part in Operation BERLIN. During the operation, some 2500 Allied airborne troops, surrounded and cut off by German forces with their backs to the Rhein River, were evacuated after the failure of Operation MARKET-GARDEN.

The Izzy Doll Mama Is Inducted Into The Order of the Pukka Sapper
On 15 August 2024, the Colonel Commandant. Major General D. Benjamin, CMM, CD (Ret') hosted, Mrs Shirley O'Connell, at a luncheon to express the Canadian Military Engineers' appreciation for her work ars as the Izzy Doll Mama.
MGen Benjamin took this occasion to induct Mrs O'Connell into the Order of the Pukka Sapper. Following is the text of this honour:
