You may not know that the CMEA uses Membee to manage  our membership lists.  Membee helps us automate our membership & events to focus on you. But we cannot do a good job unless you make an effort to keep your profile up to date.  A recent scan of our membership lists shows we have nearly 800 missing, incorrect or outdated email addresses. 

The 80^th anniversary of Japan's surrender and the official end of the Second World War was marked by an event at the National War Memorial in Ottawa on 15 August 2025. There were over 400 in attendance including the Chief of the Defence Staff and Canadian Military Engineer General, Jennie Carignan; His Worship, the Mayor of Ottawa, Mark Sutcliff; and Senator, RAdm Rebecca Patterson (Ret'd), veterans, families and friends.
