  Thomas Edwin “Tom” Matthews was born in Québec City, QC. He was an artist, teacher, builder, traveller, sailor, reader, history buff and a Royal Canadian Engineer veteran of the Second World War. Help Ruth-Ann Live Beyond Cancer

Captain Ruth-Ann Beaudry (nee Schamuhn) graduated from RMC in 1999 and served as an engineer officer in 5 RGC before becoming a Medical Officer. Three years ago, Ruth-Ann was diagnosed with an aggressive type of kidney cancer. The cancer continues to spread and she was medically released from Canadian Forces a few months ago.
