On 15 January 2020, 5 RGC Geomatics Tp received a Canadian Joint Operations Command (CJOC) Unit Commendation for their work during OP CADENCE (G7 Summit in Charlevoix 2018). Once again Reserve Engineers concentrated for intensive training during the Christmas – New Year break. This exercise has been conducted for some 30 years at Chilliwack, Wainwright, and Gagetown and formerly has been known as exercise Quarrel Jump.
