We regret to advise of the death of Sergeant Gordon Daniel "Dan" Schurman, CD (Ret’d) of Summerside PE at the Wedgewood Manor in Summerside on 10 March 2023 at age 81 years.

Born in Springhill NS, Dan was a Veteran who served as a Firefighter with the Royal Canadian Air Force.  His postings included RCAF Station Zweibrucken GE, Canadian Forces Base Trenton ON, and CFB Summerside.

Dan is resting at Moase Funeral Home in Summerside, where the funeral service will be held on Monday, 20 March 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place later in Collingwood Wyvern Cemetery in Nova Scotia. Visiting hours are Monday, 20 March 2023 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
