MWO Cliff Turcott, CD

    After 27 + years of dedicated and loyal service to the Engineer Branch, MWO Cliff Turcott will be retiring from the CF. Having seen the light right from the very beginning, he joined as a Plumber/Gasfitter, Oct 7th 1983 from beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia.

    Postings include CFB Suffield 83-89, CFB Kingston 89-90, CFE Baden 90-93 (for base closure), CFE Lahr 93-94 (for base closure), CFB Comox 94-99, CFB Gagetown CFSME, P & H Instructor/4 ESR P & H Section Commander 2000-06, ASU Chilliwack 2006-10 as a Contracts Inspector and finally his current posting to 4 Wing Cold Lake where his was employed as the WCE Deputy Engineering Officer.

    MWO Turcott has completed many operational tours of duty including, CFS Alert 98-99, 3 tours of UNDOF/Golan Heights (89,95 and 2000), and UNPROFOR 1992. He was also part of the construction team on two major 1 CEU projects, CFS Alert Power Plant in 1990 and the Eureka accommodations building in 1997. He thoroughly enjoyed his time while deployed to Jamaica and USAF Civil Engineer deployment for training purposes (DFTP) to March Air Force Base, California and Selfridge Michigan.

    MWO Turcott will be retiring in the Chilliwack, BC area; his plans include completing many of the renovation projects he promised his wife Connie he would get done upon retirement.
