Maj Dale Scherr, Construction Engineer, will retire from the CF on 6 Sep 11 after more than 31 years of dedicated and loyal service to our country. From Private to the rank of Major, Maj Scherr has worked in various capacities. Over these many years, he served at CFB Calgary, CFB Cold Lake, CFB Halifax, CF Recruit School Cornwallis, CFSME Chilliwack, CFB Moose Jaw, CFB Trenton, the CCC Trenton and CFAWC Trenton. Maj Scherr also deployed to TFBH (Task Force Bosnia Herzgovina) as the NCE/G3 Engr and to JTFA HQ RC South as the Deputy Div Engr.

Dale and his wife Joy will remain in the Brighton area. Dale intends to spend more time at cabinetry and riding his Harley with Joy.

A BBQ luncheon and retirement ceremony will take place at 8 Wing Trenton, in the Oak Room of the Officers Mess commencing at 1130 hrs on Wed 29 June 11.
