We regret to advise of the death of Jacques Marie Joseph Dupont on 18 October 2013.

Jacques was born in Castor AB in 1920 and grew up on the family farm at Fenn, AB. He was a self-taught welder, mechanic, carpenter, plumber, electrician, veterinarian, and farmer. Jacques received his military training with the Royal Canadian Engineers during WWII and saw service in Nanaimo BC, Chilliwack BC, Port Alberni BC, and Calgary AB.

A Prayer Vigil will be held at the Christ-King Catholic Church on 23 October 2013 at 7:00 P.M. with the Mass Of Christian Burial taking place on 24 October 2013 at 2:00 P.M. As an expression of sympathy and in memory of Jacques, memorial contributions may be made to Stettler Home Care, Stettler Health Services Foundation – Heritage House or to Catholic Missions Canada in care of Brennen Funeral Home and Cremation Services P.O. Box 193 Stettler, AB TOC 2LO.
