After more than 12 years of loyal and dedicated service to the Canadian Armed Forces and the Canadian Military Engineers, MCpl Jeffrey Sheppard, CD, will retire on 26 June 2023. MCpl Sheppard joined the Canadian Armed Forces in July 2010 as a Combat Engineer and was posted to 4 Engineer Support Regiment in July 2011. In July 2016, he was posted to 2 Combat Engineer Regiment in Petawawa, Ontario, where he used his previous experience to instruct multiple EROC and First-Aid courses. In 2021, MCpl Sheppard deployed on Op UNIFIER as part of the Training Support Section.
Upon retirement, MCpl Sheppard will continue voluntary service with the Laurentian Hills Fire Department and will enjoy life with his wife, Brittaney, and two daughters, Brooke-Lynn and Autymn-Rose.
