Real Property Operations Unit (West) (RPOU-W) recently hosted a "Taste of Asia" event, bringing the rich and diverse flavours of Asian food to their workplace. This celebration was designed not only to honour the contributions and heritage of the Asian community but also to foster inclusivity and cultural appreciation among the staff.

The "Taste of Asia" event was a food festival with steamed buns and snack packs, two beloved elements of Asian traditions that offered a taste of the region's diversity. Steamed buns, known for their softness and savoury fillings, were a standout feature of the event. Complementing the steamed buns were the snack packs, which featured an exciting assortment of popular Asian snacks from Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. From crunchy rice crackers to sweet and tangy dried fruits, these snack packs offered a diverse and intriguing selection.

In addition to providing a unique culinary experience, the event also provided an opportunity for all participants to learn more about Asian heritage. As we look ahead, the unit is excited about and the next culture event that will occur during Culture Awareness Month.
