This article was submitted by BGen Jerry Silva, CD (Ret'd) as a tribute to Spr Albert Wells who landed in Normandy with 6 Field Company on D-Day 6 June 1944. Spr Wells died at the age of 99 at his home in Kamloops, BC on 21 July 2019.
