Planning for Op GRANITE II has been going on for months now and we are anxious to have as many friends of Chilliwack join us. The summer is rapidly approaching and now is the time to finalize your plans for including Op GRANITE II in your own summer activities.
If you have ever served in Chilliwack and always wanted to go back to reconnect with old friends and visit the old place, the weekend of 17 to 19 July is the time to do it! As most will know, our Homecoming Reunion is centred on recognizing the 80th Anniversary of the dedication of All Sappers Park & Memorial. The aim is to rededicate the Cenotaph to include soldiers lost in the Korean War, Afghan War and Peacekeeping who have yet to be formally included in those honoured by the Cenotaph.
Join us in Chilliwack and meet old friends, share stories, recall and create new memories and give our final goodbye to the places and names that contributed so much to our lives, our careers and our families.
