Recently, Lieutenant-Colonel Johnathan Hallett, the Commanding Officer of Real Property Operations Unit (West) (RPOU-W), visited the Real Property Operations Detachment Wainwright (RPOD-W) to celebrate significant achievements and milestones within the unit.

Aaron Das (Eng O) was awarded the CO’s coin for his exceptional dedication to developing the program and his passion for his work over the past few years. His professionalism as an Engineer is reflected in his tireless efforts alongside his team to deliver complex recommendations and solutions for sensitive project files. As an advisor on engineering matters and a trusted team member to management, Aaron has played a crucial role in initiating and shaping decisions that support the improvement of Wainwright's infrastructure.

Monia DeLafontaine (Production/Works Control) also received the CO’s coin for her outstanding dedication to administration in support of the evolving preventative maintenance program. Since taking over the G2 portion of works control, Monia has upgraded her DRMIS role, allowing her to input our PM plans. She actively monitors closure rates and ensures that all documentation is filed in the necessary programs, providing management with comprehensive oversight of inspected equipment. Monia's efforts have elevated the Det Wx PM program to unprecedented levels on this base. In the last fiscal year, she administered approximately 3,800 individual inspections and is on track to exceed 4,000 this year.
