As your Colonel Commandant, Canadian Armed Forces Chief Military Engineer and Engineer Branch Chief Warrant Officer, it is with great honour that we take this opportunity to offer our best wishes of the Christmas season to you, the men and women of the Canadian Military Engineer Branch and to all of your families. I hope that you will take the time to reflect upon your outstanding accomplishments from the past year and the prosperity of the future
2013 – Our 110th anniversary was another year of amazing accomplishments within the Engineer community. From the ice runway in Northern Quebec to the UXO task at Winisk in the Northern Ontario, to the tremendous support to Ex MAPLE RESOLVE, to the Engineers currently deployed to the Philippines in support of the DART, we continue to justify our motto “UBIQUE”. We have traveled across the country and visited as many Engineers as possible and continue to be impressed with the high level of professionalism within the Engineer family and the unparalleled support you are providing to your commanders, fleets, bases, and wings. Many of you have been recognized for your tremendous efforts and you should be extremely proud of what you have accomplished
Congratulations
As to the future, we are confident the Branch is poised to provide stalwart military engineer advice and engineer capabilities to the Canadian Armed Forces and to the people of Canada
We offer our sincerest gratitude to all of you for your commitment and dedication to the Canadian Military Engineer Branch, the Canadian Armed Forces, and to Canada. Our thoughts and best wishes are sent to our deployed troops and to their families. Our wish is that you each take the time over the holidays to enjoy friends and family
Merry Christmas and the very best in 2014
