On 12 December 2018, Captain Jobin was presented with the Commander Canadian Army Commendation. The citation reads as follows:
In recognition of his outstanding professionalism when on 3 October 2017 he encountered a motorcyclist accident in Rusagonis, New Brunswick. Captain Jobin simulateously and adeptly controlled the scene, managed emotionally distraught bystanders and applied first aid to a severely injured casualty. Despite his attempts to render life-saving first aid for over 20 minutes while waiting for the emergency services to arrive, the victim died that night. Captain Jobin's exemplary leadership, dedication and presence of mind in a complex and difficult situation brought great credit to the Canadian Army.

En reconnaissance de son professionnalisme exceptionnel lorsque le 3 octobre 2017, il se retrouve sur les lieux d’un accident de motocyclette à Rusagonis, au Nouveau-Brunswick. Le capitaine Jobin a habilement contrôlé la scène, géré les passants bouleversés et donné les premiers soins à une victime grièvement blessée. Malgré ses tentatives d’administrer les premiers soins pendant 20 minutes jusqu’à ce que les services d’urgence arrivent, la victime est décédée cette nuit-là. Le leadership, le dévouement et la présence d’esprit exemplaires du capitaine Jobin dans une situation complexe et difficile ont fait grand honneur à l’Armée canadienne.
