I am pleased to attach this article that expresses thanks and appreciation to Korea's Ministry of Patriots & Veterans Affairs and the Korean people for once again offering the Korea Veterans Revisit program to veterans in the UN Allied Nations. It is truly a magnificent undertaking and of great value to our veterans, as the article explains.

First held in 1975 to mark the 25th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War, it is a magnificent expression of thanks to the veterans who personally sacrificed in defending and saving their nation, and in preserving the peace that has now ensued for 73 years since the Military Armistice Agreement, which brought an end to the war.

If you are not familiar with The Revisit Korea Program, it is a 5-night, 6-day initiative organized by the Republic of Korea’s Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs (MPVA) to honour veterans of the Korean War and their families by providing an opportunity to revisit the country they served in, at little to no cost. It is a program in very high demand- please note that an application does not guarantee participation, but you are welcome to continue to apply in future years if you are not chosen this year.
There are three options: April, July, and November. This year, up to 12 Canadians — including companions — will be able to attend. The deadline for the April event is 20 February 2026.
