WO/Adj J.B. Hudson, CD

    After more than 32 years of loyal and dedicated service to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and the Canadian Military Engineer Branch, WO Brent Hudson will be retiring effective 01 April 2016 (please see attached bio).

    WO Hudson has requested that there be no formal DwD ceremony or luncheon, however, an informal gathering will be held at the RMC Coggins Club at a date/ time TBA.     WO JB (Brent) Hudson is retiring from the RCAF on 1 Apr 16 after 32 years and 306 days of loyal and dedicated service. WO Hudson enrolled in the CAF in May 1983. After completing basic training he was posted to CFB Winnipeg to the 2nd Battalion PPCLI. After only six months in Winnipeg he was posted from Winnipeg to Baden Baden Solingen West Germany, where he spent the next 4 years. During this time, WO Hudson married his wife Lee Ann and their son was born. The battalion rotated back to Winnipeg in 1988 and WO Hudson completed a peace keeping tour in Cyprus in 1990. This was also the year that his daughter was born.

    In 1992, he saw the light and remustered to Refrigeration Technician, and after completing his training, he was posted to CFB North Bay, where he would spend the next 10 years. During this time, he completed 6-month tours to CFS Alert and Golan Heights. In 2002, he finally left North Bay for Greenwood, Nova Scotia, and shortly after arriving, he completed a tour in the UAE. 2006 brought another posting to 1 ESU in Moncton, where he would complete 2 tours of duty in Afghanistan. In 2010 another posting: this time to CFB Kingston to the CE Section on base. Here he worked in the engineering section, contracts, and RM Shop until 2015, when he was posted to his present position as the Maintenance Services WO at RMC.

    WO Hudson plans on staying on in the Kingston area and enjoying his retirement. WO Hudson has requested no formal DWD ceremony or luncheon.
