We regret to advise of the death of Sapper Arthur “Art” Freer (Ret’d) of Waterloo, ON  in his 90^th year at Grand River Hospital.

Art was a Royal Canadian Engineers veteran of the Second World War. He landed in Normandy on D-day and continued serving through Northwest Europe. He was a Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #530, Waterloo.  Art was self-employed as an eavestrougher for most of his working life

Art’s family will receive relatives and friends on 27 March from 2:00 until 4:00 and 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home in Waterloo.  A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held in the funeral home chapel on 28 March 11:00 AM with a reception to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund.  ^{{dcJan19gd} [zsd]}
