Sgt Kenneth “Ken” Allan (Ret’d)

We regret to advise of the death of Sergeant Kenneth “Ken” Allan (Ret’d) peacefully on 22 March 2012 at his residence in London, ON in his 80th year.
Ken served with the Construction Engineering Section of Canadian Forces Base London, ON as a civilian employee and served with the Militia in 7th Field Company, RCE in Wolseley Barracks, London from 1954 to 1965. He created and was curator of the private Royal Canadian Engineers Museum in Wolseley Barracks for 15 years. The museum he created is a reflection of the lives and heritage of London's Engineers.
A private memorial service will be held on 28 March at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 150-633 Colborne Street, London ON.
