We regret to advise of the death of Robert “Bob” Gordon Chambers on 19 February 2015 at the Chatham, ON campus of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 90.

Bob was born in Corunna, ON. He served in WW II with the Royal Canadian Engineers and was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 28, Chatham and also was past president of the Belle River, ON Branch # 399. Throughout his life Bob was active in both the communities of Chatham and Belle River.

Visitation will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on 22 February, 2015. A Chatham Legion Memorial Service will be held at 6:45 pm. The funeral service will be held on 23 February with internment in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Ontarian Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. James Presbyterian Church. Online condolences may be left with the funeral home. ^{gdOct2015}
