We regret to advise the death of Paul Gilbert Cardinal on 14 May 2012 in Ottawa, ON.

Paul worked most of his career in hydrography with the Maritime Section of the Directorate of Cartography. After various National Defence Headquarters re-structures, this Hydrography Unit was transferred to the Mapping and Charting Establishment where Paul worked in the Geospatial Information and Services Squadron.

He retired in 2002. In accordance with Paul’s wishes he will be cremated with internment at a later date. ^{{gdSep2015kh}}
