We regret to advise of the death of Master Warrant Officer Guy Piche, CD (Ret’d) in Cambridge ON in his 74^th year on 27 January 2023.

Guy was from Sturgeon Falls, ON and enlisted in the Canadian Forces in 1970. He became a Refrigeration and Mechanical Technician and then a Mechanical Systems Technician as he advanced in rank. Guy was known for his expertise in the Aircraft Arrester Gear and in his skills at maintaining the engineering support for radar systems.

Guy’s postings over his 27-year career included Canadian Forces Station (CFS) Kapuskasing, Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Kingston, CFB North Bay, CFS Moisie, Area Support Unit London and CFB Trenton where he was the Utilities Officer and the Mobile Arrestor Gear Team Leader. Throughout his career, Guy worked at air bases across Canada supporting air shows with the Mobile Arrestor Gear. He retired in 1997.

In accordance with Guy's wishes, there will be no funeral arrangements.
