Lt Ralph Carleton Hargrave (Ret’d)

We regret to advise of the death of Lieutenant Ralph Carleton Hargrave (Ret’d) in Calgary, AB on 3 April 2011 at the age of 90.
Ralph was born and raised in Redcliff, AB. He received his education in Redcliff and in Medicine Hat, AB. He graduated from the University of Alberta in 1943 with a degree in Civil Engineering. Immediately following his graduation, he joined the Army where he attained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Canadian Engineers serving during WWII. Following the war, Ralph established his Civil Engineering career in the construction industry working on many projects across Canada and around the world. He retired in 1986.
Memorial Services will be held at Scarboro United Church; 134 Scarboro Avenue S.W., Calgary on 10 May at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be made to Scarboro United Church Building Fund, 124 Scarboro Avenue S.W., Calgary. In living memory a tree will be planted at Big Hill Springs Park, Cochrane, AB. {gdOct2016kh}
