The city of Seoul, Korea has announced the development of a monument in the civic center of the city to honour veterans from each of the 22 nations that supported South Korea during the 1950-53 Korean War. The plans for this remarkable monument were unveiled this week by Seoul's Mayor Oh Se-hoon.

For the last 50 years, the coastal municipality of Knokke-Heist, in Belgium, celebrates Remembrance Day with thousands of Canadian flags. Despite being separated from Canada by an ocean, the community has celebrated Remembrance Day since the end of the Second World War. The Cyprus 2024 reunion was successfully conducted in Nicosia from November 5th to 12th.
