Colonel Darlene Quinn Promoted to Brigadier-General

Earlier today (7 June 2018) in Europe, LGen Whitecross had the honour of promoting Col Darlene Quinn to the rank of Brigadier-General. This well-deserved promotion is a reflection of her tremendous service to the CAF and RCAF. BGen Quinn will be appointed Commander Canadian Forces Europe and posted to Belgium.

Sapper RSM Named Mississauga Firefighter of the Year

14 May 2018 The Mississauga Real Estate Board at their 2018 Civic Awards Reception, presented CWO Justin Quaidoo with the 2018 Fire Fighter of the Year award. CWO Quaidoo, a Combat Engineer, serves with 32 CER in Toronto as RSM.  He has served a tour in Bosnia and two in Afghanistan. Improvements to the CMEA Bursary Program

Two changes to the CMEA Bursary program were recently approved by the CMEA Board of Directors and Advisors. First, in recognition of increases in the cost of post-secondary education, the value of each of the current six individual bursaries was increased from $1,000 to $1,500. The second change aims to increase the participation of our Reserve Force members in the CMEA Bursary program.
